Cassie Gonyer

Cassandra "Cassie" Gonyer lives in Daytona Beach with her husband, Tim, 3 daughters, 2 housemates, and a dog. She grew up in New Concord, Ohio, the hometown of astronaut John Glenn. After graduating high school, she made her way to Florida's Space Coast to study marine science and play soccer at Florida Institute of Technology. She graduated with her B.S. in Biology Education and has been teaching high school science along the east coast since 2008. The Gonyer family moved to Daytona Beach in 2018 to better serve students in Tim's campus ministry, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, specifically in the Midtown neighborhood. Her three daughters attend Turie T. Small Elementary School in the neighborhood and are excited for a new school this fall!
